Review Guidelines

Trader reviews are the heart of PropReferee. These rules keep them honest and useful, and we apply them the same way to every review, positive or negative, and for every firm, partner or not.

What we publish

Every genuine review based on your own experience with a firm, whether it's glowing or harsh. We never remove, hide or delay a review because it's negative, and firms cannot pay us to do so.

What we remove

• Spam, ads, links or promo codes.
• Reviews from people who work for the firm or a competitor, or who were paid or rewarded for the review in any way.
• Reviews that aren't based on a real experience with that firm, and duplicate reviews.
• Threats, hate speech, harassment or obscene content.
• Personal information about anyone, such as names of staff, emails, phone numbers or account numbers.
• Content that's off-topic or that we believe is unlawful.

How moderation works

Every review is checked before it's published, usually within 48 hours, only against the rules above. Reviews are not edited. We may mark a review "Verified purchase" if the reviewer sends proof such as a receipt; we never publish that proof.

For firms

If you believe a review breaks these rules, for example because it's fake or contains false statements of fact, email us (contact address coming soon) with the review and your reasons. We'll look into it, but we won't remove reviews simply because they're critical.

Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of PropReferee. By posting, you confirm your review is truthful and based on your own experience, and you give us permission to display it on this site. See our Terms of Use.
